1. Zombies In The Disco (Original Version)
“Zombies In The Disco” is the first release of the A.G.Trio. Andy Korg, Roland von der Aist and Aka Tell bring in an enjoyable, partly ironic and laid back approach to dance-music. The eponymous track is a technoid stomper with a sawtooth-bassline and a melodic refrain, topped with Rolands trade-mark voice. “Zombies In The Disco” has been one of the highlights in the A.G.Trio´s concerts in the last few months.
With some more housy sounds “A Simple Girl” gives more space for experiments with vocals.
Parov Stelar´s “A Simple Girl” remix presents a new facet of perceiving the track´s spirit. The remixer embedded the lead-vocals in a backtrack consisting of jazzy and poppy synth- and sample-loops.
Dirty electrohouse with nasty and catchy vocals, all presented within an intoxicating live-act. Three Austrians are capturing the charts, festivals and dancefloors of this world with their unique mixture of sound: the A.G.Trio. Their live show already gained some success - including concerts at the Zocalo of Mexico City and Berlins Olympic Stadion - even before they released their first track on a record. But in 2009 a surge of releases and remixes of the „dynamic trio“ arose. Top rankings in charts, a lot of radio airplay and critics acclamation followed soon. Their shows and solo-performances are heavily demanded for clubs and venues in and outside of Europe.
With the Austrian label Etage Noir Special and the German label Freaks Like Us! the A.G.Trio found two platforms for their releases. The EP ́s „Things You Wanna Play“ and „Replay“ earned top rankings in the U.S. and Canadian dance-charts as well as on sales-platforms like iTunes.
